Mr Shah has been a student at Harvard University. Though he did not finish his degree, he has been a licensed and practicing CPA for over many years.

Syed also lectures MBA classes in Marketing and Accounting at BZ University in Pakistan. Shortly after his teaching excursion Syed published a widely used financial guide book in Pakistan entitled "Money, Banking, and Credit at Your Fingertips." Syed is also the author of "How to Build 10-Key Calculator Speed" which is currently available at several major books stores such as Barnes and Noble as well as online at Amazon.com. 

Syed has also received training from Coopers and Lybrand, now PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
